Cornice moulding, referred to as cove or crown molding has graced cottages and castles for centuries. While plaster is the foundation of this decoration, it is not found in modern homes often due to the cost, difficulty and length of time for installation, and the amount of clean up afterward. While plaster used to be your only way to go, modern breakthroughs in stable MDF has changed all that.
