Coffered ceilings are usually divided into squares, rectangles, or polygons, by beams creating a unique and intricate design that adds a lavish touch to a room. To make your room look more flamboyant, add crown mouldings around the ceiling beams. This will add a sense of opulence to it.

The rapid impeccable service we offer to our clients in completing a project takes us a day or two to finish, whereas others may take 2 to 5 days to complete. A coffered ceiling looks great with ceilings that are approximately 8 feet high and over. Not only is a coffered ceiling great for absorbing noise, but incorporating lighting to your coffered ceiling enhances the whole mood of the room.

With our 20,000 square foot factory here at Elite Mouldings, we are able to build most of the components in house, before we arrive at a job site. One thing that we have learned is that drywall/gypsum is a far more superior material to build beams from because they will not shrink nor will they crack. Others may try to convince you otherwise, however you cannot expect wood or MDF to expand and contract at the same rate as the drywall in the rest of the room.
